JDM

 JDM

JDM stands forJapanese Domestic Market.

Starting in the 1990s, Japanese car manufacturers fought hard to produce the best gasoline cars of that generation on the market. This caused the specifications of the JDM in Japan to cause a furor in other countries and made their importation appealing.
Tuners and enthusiasts in the motor world quickly realized this and began to import specific parts from Japan to have equivalent specifications to Japanese market cars. This was the beginning of the JDM revolution.
This JDM style began to be more common on the streets of North America, companies and specialized workshops began to resurface quickly. "Fast & Furious" did not come out of nowhere, there was a reason, fashion (hence the furor caused by the film).
The phenomenon shot up even more in recent years, reaching Europe more and more. It seems that every product made in the Far East is labeled as JDM (be it for a Supra or a Saxo!). So before you get your hands on your car, think carefully about all the possibilities on the market and don't forget that something very "squeaky" and "loaded" ends up tiring... Simple is better
